LPG stations, from the vessels to the dispenser

Construction and renovation of autogas (LPG) fueling stations: burying vessels, concrete slabs, LPG systems, fire protection and the dispenser island, in coordination with the LPG company and the certifying bodies.

An LPG station demands a different precision

Liquefied petroleum gas is stored under pressure, so an LPG station is built to its own safety rules: distances from electrical pits and trenches, anchoring the vessels to a concrete slab, fire suppression systems and suitable lighting. The work is done under close supervision of the LPG company's engineers and to the standards of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the Ministry of Labor.

We carry out all the infrastructure: excavation and burial, concrete, electrical and communications, LPG systems, the dispenser island and roof, and hand over a station ready to operate.

What the service includes

What an LPG station project includes

  • Burying LPG vesselsExcavation to the required depth, placing the vessels and anchoring them.
  • Concrete anchoring slabsPouring concrete slabs for the vessels and the equipment.
  • LPG systems and compressorInstalling the LPG systems, piping and an air compressor beside the vessels.
  • Fire protectionInstalling a water monitor and fire suppression systems per the requirements.
  • Electrical and communications infrastructurePreparing infrastructure, trenching and installation.
  • Dispenser island and roofBuilding the dispenser island and roof and installing the dispenser.
  • Safety distancesKeeping the required distance from electrical pits, trenches and buildings.
  • Coordination and supervisionWorking under the supervision of the LPG company's engineers and the certifying bodies.
How it works

LPG station in five stages

  1. 01Planning and coordination

Coordination with the LPG company, checking safety distances and planning the sequence of work.

  2. 02Excavation and burial

Excavation to the required depth, placing the vessels and pouring the concrete slab that anchors them.

  3. 03Infrastructure

Trenches, electrical, communications and concrete slabs for the equipment.

  4. 04LPG and safety systems

LPG systems, compressor, fire protection and lighting.

  5. 05Dispenser island and handover

Building the dispenser island and roof, installing the dispenser, testing and handover.

Featured project

Dimona LPG station: built under strict supervision

Construction of an LPG station under strict supervision of Pazgas engineers and the standards of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the Ministry of Labor. The work kept the required distances from electrical pits and trenches, and a water monitor was installed for fire protection. Two LPG vessels were buried two meters deep and a concrete slab was poured to anchor them; electrical and communications infrastructure was prepared, trenches were dug, LPG systems installed, concrete slabs poured, an air compressor installed beside the vessels, the dispenser island and roof built and the dispenser installed.

The same crews and the same equipment build our fuel stations too, so a combined fuel and LPG station is built by one contractor. All projects

FAQ

Before you build a LPG station

Who supervises the construction of an LPG station?

The LPG company's engineers supervise the work, and it is carried out to the standards of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the Ministry of Labor. We coordinate with them throughout the project.

Can an LPG dispenser be added to an existing fuel station?

Yes, subject to the safety distances and approvals. We check feasibility on site before quoting.

What is the difference between burying an LPG vessel and burying a fuel tank?

The vessel stores gas under pressure, so it is anchored to a concrete slab, with safety distances, fire suppression systems and a compressor. The principles of precise excavation and sealed infrastructure are common to both.
